Our client’s late sister was out for a fun leisurely ride on her new bicycle near the side of the road. Tragically, she was struck by an inattentive driver who claimed the sun blinded his line of sight. The traffic collision report unbelievably placed our client’s late sister at fault and the auto insurance carriers involved then argued it was the bicyclist’s fault. However, with the assistance of an expert witness who is a former law enforcement accident reconstructionist, we found numerous, highly relevant errors with the traffic collision report. After battling the involved insurance carriers, the matter resolved for all available policy limits.
